Problems with your account?

We are aware that many of our users have experienced difficulties in accessing their accounts since implementation of AMEE's single-sign-on protocol. Our team are working as hard as they can to resolve your queries but as we are exeriencing a high volume of email traffic, please could we ask you to follow the steps below which may resolve your issues.
  1. Ensure you are fully logged out of the MedEdPublish platform - and the AMEE platform - and close any associated tabs.
  2. Open your email account and ensure that you are able to receive our password reset emails by adding the following email address to your safe-senders list - [email protected]
  3. Revisit the MedEdPublish website and click on the Login/Register link
  4. Enter your email address into the Username field
  5. Click on the Forgot Password link which will generate an email to be sent to your registered email address
  6. Visit your email account and check your inbox/spam/junk folder for an email arriving from [email protected] with information on how to reset your password
  7. Once you have followed the instructions to reset your password, you should be able to log into the MedEdPublish platform as normal with your email address and your new password.
Upon logging in, you should find any existing manuscripts in the 'My Manuscripts' section of your MedEdPublish account located at the top of the MedEdPublish homepage.

Common problems
  1. I did not receive the password reset email: Please wait for an hour and try again. If you still do not receive the email, please contact your institutional IT department to check whether the email address is being blocked at an institutional level. If it is, please send us a copy of their response so we can advise.
  2. I followed the instructions and still cannot access my manuscripts:There may be a problem with cached information in your browser. Please try using a different browser to login to the site. If this is successful you should follow the instructions to clear cookies and other cached information from your regular browser which should resolve this issue. If you are unable to access your account from an alternative browser, please email us with further details of the problem and any specific issues you are having
  3. I have paid to submit a manscript but it is still showing as 'unsubmitted': Please email us with the date of your transaction and we will follow this up for you. If you are able to attach the confirmation email you recieved, we will be able to deal with your query more efficiently.
  4. I cannot change the 'corresponding author' details in my manuscript and I cannot submit without these details: Please follow the steps above. The most common reason for this is that you are still logged into a cached version of the site. Logging out and logging back in should update your account and permit any necessary amendments. Please also see step 2 before contacting us by email.
Please DO NOT create a new account or carry out work on any manuscripts or reviews until the issues with your account are resolved. Doing so may create duplicate records in our system and it could take a considerable time to restore access to all of your manuscripts.

If you are still experiencing difficulties, please email us on [email protected], giving as much detail as possible about the problem you are having, and including screenshots of any error messages you are seeing, and someone will get back to you as soon as possible. If you are an author, please include the 4-digit ID of your manuscript in the subject line of your email.

Thank you for patience and understanding.
