Digital Preservation

At the point of publication, all articles are allocated a unique DOI (digital object identifier) which is registered with CrossRef. Articles become citable immediately and will normally appear in Google Scholar within 6 weeks of publication.

MedEdPublish articles are published under a Creative Commons CC BY-SA licence which permits any user to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of all articles, as well as to remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, on condition that correct attribution is given, all changes are clearly indicated, and the new material is published under the same license. The copyright of each article remains with the current copyright holder (usually the author or their institution).

Under our deposit policy (lodged with Sherpa/Romeo) authors are encouraged to deposit either their original manuscript or the published pdf of their article in an institutional repository. Articles are archived with Portico, a digital archiving service, to ensure their preservation and to maintain access in the unlikely event of any issues with the MedEdPublish server. All original material submitted by the author will be retained by AMEE MedEdPublish for up to 3 years.
